Turkey Trot 5k Road Run/Walk
11/22 Thur. City Hall, Park Falls.
At 8:00 AM start your Thanksgiving morning off burning calories in the Turkey Trot and you won't feel as guilty about indulging in Thanksgiving dinner, plus help support the local food pantry - "The Lord's Cupboard". Merrill Christmas Parade & Tours
12/01 Sat. Downtown Merrill. The Christmas Parade starts at 5 pm at the Genesee Street and and ends at the Courthouse where Santa will turn the Christmas lights on. He is going to check on Merrill to see who has been naughty or nice! The Christmas Parade has all lite floats. After the parade head over to Bell Tower Residence - Assisi Hall for some music and refreshments from 6 to 8 pm. Take a ride around the neighborhood which will be lit up by candles. The O'Tannenbaum Tour runs from December 1st through 3rd, This festive event is in the St. Stephen's Church basement. Enjoy the feel of Christmas as you wander through the parade of Christmas trees, wreaths and baskets. Purchase raffle tickets and place them in the item that you would like to win. Money goes to the 4-H of Lincoln County.

The 2019 Motorcycle Map Tours

Paws In The Park & Dock Dogs in Wisconsin

Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce is premiering a new area event for 2017! Paws in The Park is bringing tons of four-legged fun for the whole family to Torpy Park in Minocqua. The event will feature dog agility demonstrations, a pet expo, and Dock Dogs of Wisconsin. Dock jumping also known as dock diving is a dog sport in which dogs compete in jumping for distance or height from a dock into a body of water. Events Include: Extreme Vertical which is the high jump for dogs. Big Air which is the long jump for dogs, and then Speed Retrieve which is a drag race for dogs which will run, jump and swim to retrieve a bumper at the end of the pool.

The smell of beef fills the air and more than 12,000 people fill the streets of downtown Minocqua area. For over 50 years, Beef-a-Rama has been a premiere event drawing visitors back year after year to join in on the one-of-a kind fun you can only find in the Northwoods. Live music at the park on Friday, Sept. 29th evening. The downtown Beef Cook-offs begin bright and early in the morning along with live music & other tasty treats. Roast beef sandwich sales start at 10:00am. Other activities include the 10K and 5K Rump Roast Run and Walk along Lake Minocqua at 9am, Prime Choice Craft Show at Torpy Park from 9am-5pm, Beef Eating Contest at 11:30am, live music at two stages, Cow Plop, Petting Zoo, and of course the famous Roaster Parade at 2:15pm down main street! Phillips Chain of Lakes Triathlon

Swim 1/4 mile in Elk Lake, bike 18 miles on rural roads, and run 3 miles along Lake Duroy. Participants can enter as individuals or as a relay team. Registration is available through the website. Discounts are available until mid-June 2017, which is also the deadline to request a T-shirt. Registrations are accepted through the day of the event and includes a participation gift, buffet lunch and awards. There will be a free Steeple Chase event for kids. Fire Trucks, Live Animals, Photo Booth, Face Painting, Bean Bag Toss, Live Music - The 400 Block (11am-2pm), Wausau Children's Museum, Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides, Pumpkin Carving at St Paul's UCC, Story Time & Crafts at the Marathon County Public Library, Scratch Art Masks & Crafts - Center for Visual Arts, Caricatures & Food Specials, Story Telling at Janke Book Store (On the hour), Carnival, Food, Games at theSalvation Army. There will be a shuttle running from the 400 Block to the Salvation Army and back!

23rd Annual Harvest Fest
